Awarding 250 scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties

(Baonghean.vn) –On May 12 and 13, Dau Tu Newspaper in collaboration with Vingroup Corporation, TH True Milk Joint Stock Company and a number of enterprises presented 250 scholarships and gifts to poor and excellent students in Nghe An province.

250 poor students who overcame difficulties received scholarships this time in the districts of Yen Thanh (100 students), Nam Dan (100 students) and Anh Son (50 students). In addition to the cash value of VND500,000 for each scholarship, the students also received gifts of the company's dairy products from TH True Milk Joint Stock Company.

Awarding scholarships to poor students overcoming difficulties in Nam Dan district

This is an annual scholarship program organized by Investment Newspaper in collaboration with the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education. The funding is drawn from the sponsorship of the Golf Tournament for Vietnamese Children - SWING FOR THE KIDS. Over the past 6 years, the Golf Tournament "For Vietnamese Children" has attracted 110 organizations and individuals to sponsor with a total value of more than 5.5 billion VND. The Organizing Committee has directly awarded more than 6,000 scholarships to poor but studious students in 38 provinces and cities nationwide and supported the construction and repair of learning facilities in many localities damaged by natural disasters and floods.
