Giving 400 bicycles to poor but studious students in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 8, in Vinh City, the program "Journey of Life" presented 400 bicycles and 5 life insurance contracts to poor but studious students in Nghe An.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Le Tuyet Mai - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Children's Fund; Colonel Tran Quoc Trung - Deputy Director of the Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of provincial departments and branches.

"Life Journey" is a series of events launched by AIA Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Children's Fund, local authorities and Children's Funds of provinces and cities since 2014.
This is the 5th consecutive year that “Journey of Life” has come to Nghe An province and presented 400 bicycles and 5 free life insurance contracts (each contract worth 20 million VND) to poor but studious students; with a total gift value of 840 million VND.
At the program, 200 bicycles and 5 insurance contracts were awarded to poor but excellent students from several districts in the province.

With the aim of supporting and empowering disadvantaged children to go to school, over the past 4 years, 5,500 poor children from more than 50 provinces and cities have received bicycles from the "Journey of Life" program.
In 2018, the program is expected to give away 3,000 bicycles and many free insurance contracts to poor children nationwide; helping them continue their dream of going to school.
