Presenting 80 gifts and 200 bowls of porridge to leprosy patients in Quynh Lap

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 13, Yen Thai Pagoda (Quynh Luu) organized an activity to give gifts to patients being treated at the special inpatient area at Quynh Lap Central Dermatology and Leprosy Hospital.

The delegation presented 80 gifts to seriously ill, elderly and disadvantaged patients being treated here, each gift in cash worth 150,000 VND.

The group also organized the program “Charity porridge pot” to distribute 200 bowls of porridge to patients in difficult circumstances. On this occasion, the charity group gave 1,600,000 VND in cash to the hospital to support the patients.

Quynh Lap Central Leprosy and Dermatology Hospital has 2 facilities, currently caring for and treating 240 patients, of which 90 are seriously ill and require special care from nurses, from daily activities, eating to walking.
