Graduation certificates awarded to 52 students of vocational training class sponsored by Korea
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 13, the Vocational Training - Employment Promotion Center of the Provincial Women's Union held the Closing Ceremony of the Food Processing Vocational Training Course IV, Hair, Nail, Spa Course II/2016 and the Project Summary for the 2015 - 2016 period.
Attending the ceremony, on the Korean side, there was Ms. Kim Gyung Ah - Deputy Country Director of KOICA Office in Vietnam, advisor of the Korean Women's University Association.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were Ms. Le Thi Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, President of the Provincial Women's Union and representatives of a number of relevant departments, branches and sectors.
The food processing, hair, nail, and spa vocational training classes are part of the project “Vocational training to create financial independence for Vietnamese women” sponsored by the Korea International Cooperation Agency and managed by the Korean Women's University Association with the goal of helping women have stable jobs.

With financial support, during the 3-month training period, 52 students of 4 classes were trained in practical skills through practice sessions with full equipment and suitable materials. In addition, students were also supplemented with knowledge and skills required for workers such as: career orientation test, Labor Law, Social Insurance Law, Marriage and Family Law...

At the end of the course, 52/52 students were qualified to take the final exam and were recognized as graduates, of which 77% achieved excellent results and 23% achieved good results. Currently, 21/52 students have found jobs, started opening shops or determined their work locations with an average initial income of 2,500,000 - 3,000,000 VND/month.
At the graduation ceremony, 8 excellent students were awarded. The leaders of the Provincial Women's Union also presented the Certificate of Merit to the Korean Women's University Association.
