(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of August 26, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee organized a festival for excellent Youth Union branch secretaries in 2016.

After 4 months of implementation and direction, the Competition for Excellent Youth Union Branch Secretaries has had a great influence on the Youth Union cadres in the whole province. The grassroots competition was organized enthusiastically, attracting the participation of more than 3,500 Youth Union Branch Secretaries in the whole province.

Participating in the provincial competition, there were 21 contestants who were 21 excellent secretaries of the Youth Union branches introduced by the district, city and town Youth Unions from the grassroots rounds. With their talents and knowledge, the contestants went through 3 rounds: The luggage of a Youth Union branch secretary, giving advice on building the Youth Union, and youth leadership skills.

Candidate Chu Thi Huyen - Secretary of the Tan Son Block Youth Union, Hoa Hieu Ward, Thai Hoa Town is the candidate who won the second prize of the contest and the candidate who won the prize of "the person with the best presentation".

Through the competition, the aim is to create a playground for the secretaries of the Youth Union branches to learn from each other's experiences, improve their knowledge and skills. This is an activity for each branch and grassroots Youth Union to re-evaluate the content, form and quality of current Youth Union activities in each locality and unit in order to propose more effective solutions in the future.

The solutions, models and ideas proposed by the Youth Union secretaries will be compiled by the Organizing Committee and submitted to the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee for research, replication and implementation.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 8 consolation prizes, 2 third prizes; the second prize went to contestant Chu Thi Huyen - Secretary of the Tan Son Youth Union, Hoa Hieu Ward, Thai Hoa Town and the contestant with the best presentation. The first prize was awarded to contestant Nguyen Dinh Hao - Secretary of the Youth Union of Hamlet 8, Quynh Hoa Commune, Quynh Luu District.
