At the award ceremony, there were more than 300 businessmen representing more than 13,000 enterprises in the province and many Nghe An businessmen from many localities in the country and abroad gathered. Held every 2 years, this is the fourth time Nghe An province has organized the award of the gold cup to businessmen with many contributions to the socio-economic development of the province. Thereby, it aims to encourage, motivate and honor excellent businessmen with many achievements in business development, actively contributing to the State budget and participating in social security activities. At this year's award ceremony, 39 businessmen in various fields were honored to receive the gold cup.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated the entrepreneurs who received the Golden Cup this year. He affirmed that these are noble awards that the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee present to those with outstanding achievements in production, business, and job creation for workers. In recent times, the province's average budget revenue has increased by an average of 1,000 billion VND per year, creating jobs for more than 36,000 workers each year. This result is thanks to the very important contribution of the business community and entrepreneurs. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong hopes that entrepreneurs and enterprises, with their enthusiasm, intelligence, and creativity, will proactively integrate more deeply into the world and regional economy. At the Award Ceremony, the Organizing Committee launched a fund to support the “Poor Patient Support Fund”.
