(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 17, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Education & Training, Department of Information & Communications, Nghe An Telecommunications to organize the Closing Ceremony and award the prize for the 2015 Youth Informatics Contest. Attending the ceremony were comrades: Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Dinh Hung - Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

The 21st Nghe An Youth Informatics Contest in 2015 attracted more than 2,000 contestants to participate in the preliminary round at the grassroots level. The provincial contest gathered 210 students to participate in both rounds (general contest and creative software contest). The general contest had 190 students, including 73 primary school students, 58 secondary school students and 57 high school students. Creative software had 20 products.

The Youth Informatics Competition is a playground to stimulate the love and creativity of Informatics, information technology applications among young people, and at the same time discover the province's Informatics talents. Through 21 years of organization, from the Youth Informatics movement, Nghe An has had mature Informatics talents, contributing to the socio-economic fields of the locality and the country.

According to the evaluation of the Jury, the results of the 21st Youth Informatics Contest have shown both depth and breadth; encouraging the movement of passion for learning informatics and applying information technology among students. In particular, the contest attracted the participation of many students from mountainous districts with difficult learning conditions such as Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Quy Chau.
Besides the advantages, the Jury also pointed out some shortcomings and limitations such as: the quality of the entries is not consistent between regions; there are more creative software products than in previous years but the quality is not as expected...

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 10 third prizes and 66 consolation prizes and selected 4 contestants with the highest results in each group to participate in the National Youth Informatics Contest to be held in Binh Duong in August 2015./.
