Award Ceremony of the 23rd Nghe An Radio and Television Festival

Nghe An Radio and Television Festival is a professional activity that has been held regularly for the past 22 years. The 23rd Festival - 2018 took place from September 22 to 24, 2018. This is an opportunity to honor the creative achievements of Nghe An radio and television journalists in recent years; an activity to exchange and improve professional skills in producing quality programs to serve audiences and listeners.

Through the festival, the Vietnam Journalists Association of Nghe An province, the Organizing Committee and units selected excellent works to participate in the Nghe An Press Award, the National Press Award, the National Press Award on Party building and the upcoming National Television Festival.

The festival has 154 works participating in the radio and television awards. The works focus on reflecting achievements in the fields of politics, economics, culture, and society of the homeland, reflecting good people and good deeds, advanced models in building a new life, in hunger eradication and poverty reduction, overcoming natural disasters, storms and floods, climate change, environmental protection, building new rural areas, in the fight against corruption, negativity, waste, protecting national security, social order and safety, traffic safety, building a cultural foundation of residential areas, the Campaign "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh", works that discover new factors.

The Festival Organizing Committee selected 12 best works to award Gold prizes, including 6 television works, 6 radio works; 28 works won Silver prizes; 51 works won Encouragement prizes.

In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 A prizes on the topic of Party Building to 2 works of Tan Ky Radio and Television Station and Do Luong Radio and Television Station; awarded 2 excellent prizes on the topic of agriculture and rural areas to 2 works of Quy Hop Radio and Television Station and Yen Thanh Radio and Television Station; awarded 2 excellent prizes on the topic of health to 2 works of the News Department - Nghe An Radio and Television Station and Vinh City Radio and Television Station; awarded 2 excellent prizes on the topic of education to 2 works of the Editorial Department, News Department - Nghe An Radio and Television Station; awarded 2 excellent prizes on the topic of traffic safety to 2 works of the News Department - Nghe An Radio and Television Station.

This year’s festival also had 134 works from 14 units participating in the NTV Moments Photo Award 2018. The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 14 works. Of which, the work “Going through the forest to the flood center” by Ky Son Radio and Television Station won first prize.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee also honored and awarded outstanding announcers, program directors, cameramen, MCs, and technicians./.
