Awarding "January Star" and "5 Good Students" title
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of January 6, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Executive Committee of the Student Association of Nghe An province held a ceremony to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the traditional day of students and awarded the "January Star" and "5 Good Students" awards. Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, representatives of the Propaganda Department, the Mass Mobilization Department, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
In recent times, the Union and Youth Union chapters in the whole province have launched a peak emulation campaign with many specific and practical activities such as: Emulating good teaching and good learning, organizing art performances, cultural and artistic exchanges, sports competitions, volunteering for community life, for social security. Especially in the "Pride of Vietnamese Students" festival, many units and students participated enthusiastically, creating a spread among students.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Student Association awarded the January Star title and the 5 Good Students title to 48 students from 8 universities and colleges across the province. At this forum, units participating in the "Pride of Vietnamese Students" festival mobilized and donated to sew national flags to give to officers and soldiers of Dao Mat Island.
