(Baonghea.vn) - April 10,At Nam Can Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Viettel Military Telecommunications Group in collaboration with the Ky Son District Education Promotion Association awarded 10 scholarships to primary and secondary school students of the commune, each worth 1,000,000 VND.

This is a support program for students in difficult circumstances, creating better conditions for them in the process of studying and training to rise up in life and establish a career in the future. Initially, the pilot implementation will be carried out in primary and secondary schools in extremely difficult communes, border communes, safe zone communes in the investment area of ​​Program 135 according to Decision No. 495/QD-TTg dated April 8, 2014 and extremely difficult communes in coastal and island areas. The criteria for considering scholarships are typical primary and secondary school students in difficult circumstances but with the will to rise up in life, study, and training but have not received support from any study promotion programs.

Accordingly, in Ky Son district, Viettel Military Telecommunications Group will award scholarships to 20 communes. The awarding program lasts from April 2 to April 13, 2015.
