Awarding the 65-year Party membership badge to comrade Le Kha Phieu

On September 30, at the General Department of Politics (GDP), the Party Committee of the GDP Office held a ceremony to award the 65-year Party membership badge to comrade Le Kha Phieu, former General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Attending the Party badge awarding ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Senior Lieutenant General Ngo Xuan Lich, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Political Department (GDP), and Deputy Directors of the GDP, leaders of the Party Central Office, leaders of the GDP Office and functional agencies of the GDP.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of the Party, the State, and the Central Military Commission, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong presented the 65-year Party membership badge to comrade Le Kha Phieu, former General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, former Director of the General Department of Politics, and a party member at the Party Committee of the General Department of Politics Office. The 65-year Party membership badge is a noble award of the Communist Party of Vietnam in recognition of comrade Le Kha Phieu's great contributions to the Party's revolutionary cause.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong spoke and awarded the 65-year Party membership badge to comrade Le Kha Phieu.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong congratulated comrade Le Kha Phieu on receiving the 65-year Party membership badge, and affirmed: This is an honor and pride for the Party Committee of the Army, the Party Committee of the General Department of Politics, especially the Party Committee of the General Department of Politics and the Party Cell of the Planning and Synthesis Department, where comrade Le Kha Phieu is currently working. The General Secretary emphasized: During his 65 years in the Party, comrade Le Kha Phieu has held many important positions, and has been trained and matured in the wars of liberation, defending the Fatherland and fulfilling noble international duties, as well as in the cause of innovation, building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam. No matter what his work assignment, he was always absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, steadfast in the Party's ideals and goals, constantly studying, cultivating and training in all aspects, always worthy of being a typical Communist Party member, excellently completing assigned tasks.

“To continue promoting the nature and revolutionary traditions of the Party and learning from the example of comrade Le Kha Phieu, all cadres, party members and the masses need to strive to study and practice, in order to successfully implement the Resolutions of the Party Central Committee. For the Army, all cadres, party members and soldiers need to continue to promote the Emulation movement to win, promote the nature and fine traditions of Uncle Ho's soldiers. Promote "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" in conjunction with implementing the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (11th tenure) and the campaign "Promoting traditions, dedicating talents, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers". Each cadre, party member and soldier needs to actively cultivate, practice, strive, truly be exemplary in political mettle, absolutely loyal to the revolutionary cause of the Party; constantly improve comprehensive qualities and capabilities; strengthen solidarity, maintain strict discipline, resolutely fight to protect the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, and oppose all manifestations of opportunities, mistakes, ready to receive and complete well the assigned tasks...", General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong advised.

Senior Lieutenant General Ngo Xuan Lich, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the General Department of Politics congratulated comrade Le Kha Phieu.

Comrade Le Kha Phieu thanked the Party Central Committee for its attention; the guidance and support of veteran revolutionaries; the protection, shelter and nurturing of compatriots, soldiers and people nationwide throughout his revolutionary career. With his responsibility and affection, Comrade Le Kha Phieu wished that: Cadres and Party members of the TCCT Agency always have steadfast and firm political will, actively study, practice, and excellently complete all assigned tasks; at the same time, further promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example, in an effective, practical, profound and influential manner... For his part, Comrade Le Kha Phieu determined to continue to practice and strive to contribute to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party, State and Army.
