The person who received the house is veteran Lam Huu Minh in hamlet 18B, Nghi Lien commune, Vinh city. Mr. Minh served in the army, participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country for 16 years, of which 6 years were as a soldier on the unnumbered ship, crossing the sea to support the South, weaving the golden history of the Vietnam People's Navy and making an important contribution to the great victory of the country. After being discharged from the army, veteran Lam Huu Minh's life encountered many difficulties.

Thanks to the connection of the Ho Chi Minh Sea Traditional Liaison Committee in Nghe An area, veteran Lam Huu Minh was supported by the Navy - Navy Technical College to build a comrade house. The house has a total value of 80 million VND, of which the Navy Technical College supported 60 million VND and the family 20 million VND.
On this occasion, the Party Committee, government and organizations of Nghi Lien commune also presented gifts to Mr. Lam Huu Minh's family.
