(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 6, Nguyen Quang Buddhist Charity Group, Tobacco Import-Export Company (HCMC) coordinated with the Association of the Blind in Dien Chau district to organize a ceremony to hand over a charity house to Ms. Nguyen Thi Que in Hamlet 6, Dien Phuc Commune (Dien Chau).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Que is a member of the Association of the Blind in Dien Chau District. She herself has been blind in both eyes since childhood. She is a victim of Agent Orange. Currently, her parents are old and her family is poor. The Association of the Blind in Dien Chau District called on the Buddhist charity group Nguyen Quang to support 30 million VND to build a house for her. The Association of Victims of Agent Orange in Dien Chau District supported 15 million VND. The Vietnam Fatherland Front, the People's Committee of Dien Chau District, the People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front and the departments, organizations and unions of Dien Phuc Commune and the family contributed to help Ms. Que build a house.

After 2 months of construction, the house was completed with a usable area of ​​50m2 and a total construction cost of over 100 million VND. On this occasion, the Dien Chau Blind Association and organizations and individuals presented some necessary items for daily life to Ms. Nguyen Thi Que. This is the 5th charity house that the Nguyen Quang Buddhist Charity Group has supported to build for policy families, poor households and members of the Blind Association in Nghe An province in 2014.
