Handing over the Politburo's decision on personnel transfer in Ha Tinh province

On the morning of February 26, comrade To Huy Rua, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, presented the Politburo's decision to transfer comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, former Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee and the decision to approve comrade Vo Kim Cu, Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee, to be Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade To Huy Rua highly appreciated the outstanding results that Ha Tinh has achieved in all fields in the past time. Achieving those results is due to the great contributions of comrades Nguyen Thanh Binh and Vo Kim Cu in the process of management and direction. The Politburo's assignment of comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee and approval of comrade Vo Kim Cu to the position of Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2010-2015 term is the recognition and high appreciation of the Central Committee for the contributions of the two comrades to the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Tinh.

Comrade To Huy Rua congratulated comrades Nguyen Thanh Binh and Vo Kim Cu on being entrusted with new tasks by the Party and State; at the same time, he hoped that in their new positions, the two comrades would continue to promote their capacity, innovate, and successfully complete their assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the Party and people.

Previously, on February 9, the Executive Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee (17th term) held its 30th meeting to elect the position of Provincial Party Secretary to replace comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, who was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee. As a result, comrade Vo Kim Cu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee, was elected to hold the position of Provincial Party Secretary with 100% of the votes.
