Giving savings books to poor households in Chau Thon commune - Que Phong

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 5, a delegation from Nghe An University of Economics visited and gave gifts to families in especially difficult circumstances in Chau Thon commune, Que Phong.

This is one of the communes facing many difficulties in Que Phong district. Currently, the whole commune has 842 households with 3,813 people, of which the number of poor households accounts for 52.4%.

On behalf of the school leaders, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Lai, Vice Principal of Nghe An University of Economics, directly presented 6 savings books (total value of 30 million VND), each savings book worth 5 million VND to 6 families with especially difficult circumstances including: Mrs. Loc Thi Nang's family (Na Lan hamlet), Mr. Vi Van Hoan's family (Poi village), Mr. Luong Van Tan's family (Lam village), Mr. Vi Van Bien's family and Mrs. Loc Thi Tuong's family (Mo village, Chau Thon commune).
