Donating 100 bicycles to poor children in Thanh Chuong

(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the Month of Action for Children and International Children's Day June 1, on the afternoon of May 30, at the Thanh Chuong District Cultural Center, Comrade Thai Van Hang, Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with representatives of the Department of Education and Training, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Children's Support Fund, Association of Outstanding Entrepreneurs and Thanh Chuong Association visited and presented gifts to 100 students of the district with difficult circumstances who have made great efforts in their studies.

Coming to the children, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee praised and encouraged the children's efforts to overcome their circumstances and rise up. At the same time, he expressed his hope that in the coming time, the children will have more favorable conditions to excel in their studies.

In order to encourage and motivate children to compete to be good and study well, on this occasion, 100 children received 200 shirts from the Provincial Children's Support Fund and 100 bicycles from the amount of 105 million VND donated by Thanh Chuong Association and businesses.

Comrade Thai Van Hang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of sponsors presented bicycles to Thanh Chuong children.

Comrade Thai Van Hang presented flowers to thank the benefactors.

This is a meaningful work to join hands to take care of children, especially poor children. Gifts from benefactors will be a source of encouragement for children to try to overcome difficulties to rise up in life.
