Presenting 3 savings books to show gratitude to the families of martyrs who died on Gac Ma Island
Commemorating the 37th anniversary of the day 64 naval soldiers on Gac Ma Island, Truong Sa of Vietnam sacrificed to protect the Fatherland (March 14, 1988 - March 14, 2025), on the morning of March 7, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province organized the presentation of 3 savings books to families of martyrs in the districts of Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh and Vinh city.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Bui Xuan Thinh - Permanent Vice President of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province; comrades in the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of the province and representative of the sponsor Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai and families of martyrs.
On this occasion, the delegation presented 3 savings books, each worth 10 million VND to the families of martyrs, including: Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nhi, mother of martyr Le Ba Giang, in Hung Dung ward, Vinh city; Mr. Cao Dinh Loi, brother, worshiping martyr Cao Dinh Luong, in Trung Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district and Mrs. Le Thi Nguyen, mother of martyr Tran Van Minh, in Quynh Long commune (now Thuan Long commune), Quynh Luu district. The total amount is 30 million VND.
The meaningful gift aims to encourage the families of martyrs who sacrificed their lives on Gac Ma Island (including 8 martyrs in Nghe An province) to ease their grief, continue to promote family traditions, continue the indomitable will of the heroes in the cause of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland; strive to study, work, produce, contribute their strength and intelligence, and contribute to building the homeland to become increasingly rich, civilized, and prosperous.
