Awarding 30 scholarships to poor children overcoming difficulties in Kim Lien
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of April 15, at Kim Lien Secondary School (Nam Dan), the Provincial Children's Support Fund in coordination with the People's Committee of Kim Lien Commune (Nam Dan) organized a ceremony to award 30 scholarships (each worth 500 VND from the Ho Chi Minh City Disabled Children Relief Association) to students of the school with difficult circumstances who have made great achievements in their studies.
Attending the event were representatives of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of the province, Mr. Nguyen Van Chi - former Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Association for Relief of Disabled Children, Ms. Truong Thi No - Deputy Head of Charity Committee, Central Committee of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and students of Kim Lien Secondary School.
