The "Supporting Fishermen at Sea" program, organized by the Family and Society Newspaper, is an activity in response to the "Healthcare Sector Supporting Fishermen at Sea" movement launched by the Ministry of Health. On this occasion, the Family and Society Newspaper donated 50 medicine cabinets and medical equipment to three districts and towns: 41 in Quynh Luu, 1 in Dien Chau, and 8 in Hoang Mai town. Each medicine cabinet, valued at 2 million VND, contains various medicines and medical equipment, ordered from the Vietnam Institute of Maritime Medicine in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health. This gift was raised by the Family and Society Newspaper through donations from organizations, businesses, and philanthropists. This gift is of great significance in protecting the health of fishermen when they go out to sea, contributing to the protection of our homeland's seas and islands. After the donation ceremony, doctors from the Institute of Maritime Medicine provided training and guidance on the use of the medicine cabinets and basic first aid at sea to the fishermen.
