Presenting nearly 25,000 Spring newspapers to border and island soldiers

On the afternoon of January 19, in Hanoi, Nhan Dan Newspaper held a ceremony to release and present the Binh Than Spring 2016 edition of Nhan Dan Newspaper to border and island officers and soldiers.

The total number of Nhan Dan Tet newspapers donated this time is nearly 25,000 copies. In addition to the number of newspapers donated today, the remaining number of newspapers will be transported by Vietnam Post Corporation to soldiers across the country, especially in border areas, islands, remote areas and soldiers on duty in Truong Sa archipelago.

The entire issue of Nhan Dan Spring Newspaper presented today was donated by 7 units in coordination with Nhan Dan Newspaper, namely the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the State Bank of Vietnam, the Vietnam Electricity Group, the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, the State Capital Investment Corporation, and the Vietnam Tobacco Corporation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Khanh affirmed: As usual, on the 10th of December every year, Nhan Dan Newspaper organizes the release of the Spring newspaper and presents this product to officers and soldiers on duty in border and island areas with the desire to accompany and encourage Uncle Ho's soldiers to always hold their guns firmly to protect the Fatherland and welcome Tet and a warm spring.

This year, the event is more special than previous years because the award ceremony takes place right before the 12th National Party Congress, a time when the entire people and army are joyfully looking forward to the Congress.

The Spring Newspaper is also the result of a year of hard work by the Nhan Dan Newspaper team. In 2015, the country's economic situation was still difficult, affecting the whole society, including the journalism team.

Overcoming difficulties, Party journalists have successfully completed their assigned political tasks. Nhan Dan Newspaper has introduced nearly 290,000 Spring newspapers to readers nationwide, an increase of 4,000 copies compared to last year. The newspaper's content is carefully selected and beautifully presented.

Up to this point, the Spring editions of Nhan Dan Newspaper have been available at the post office system, serving readers across the three regions of the North, Central and South.

For remote, border, island and disadvantaged areas, the newspaper will reach readers no later than December 23./.
