On the morning of August 18, in Hanoi, the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly, the President, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security solemnly held the ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security of Vietnam, the 10th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (ANTQ) and awarded the Gold Star Order for the 4th time to the Vietnam People's Public Security force.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security, and all generals, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, workers and employees in the entire Public Security Force, sincerely thanked the special attention of the Party, State, people and individual leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front for the Public Security Force; thanked the attention, coordination and assistance of sectors, levels and comrades and people nationwide; thanked the close cooperation and friendship of international friends.

Previously, on July 1, 2015, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed a decision to award the Gold Star Order for the fourth time to the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces for their great and exceptionally outstanding contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
