Giving gifts and warm winter clothes to students in mountainous areas

*In Quy Chau,Nghe An Provincial Police Youth Union coordinated with Tam Phuc volunteer group and Quy Chau District Police Youth Union to organize the program "Warm Winter in Nghe An".

The program was held in Thung Khang and Pa Hoc villages, two of the most difficult villages in Quy Chau district; there is currently no electricity, the roads are very difficult, and 100% of the households are poor.

The delegation presented more than 100 gifts including cash and warm blankets to students of Chau Binh 2 Kindergarten and Primary School, with a total value of over 30 million VND.

On this occasion, the delegation, together with the people of Thung Khang and Pa Hoc villages, teachers and students in the commune, cleaned up the village roads, alleys, and filled potholes on the road in front of the kindergarten and primary school gates.

Keng Du 2 Commune is located in high mountainous terrain, with difficult traffic conditions. The learning and living conditions of students as well as the mountainous people here are still difficult.

On this occasion, the “Winter Coat” Club donated more than 1,000 warm coats, blankets, warm socks, stuffed animals, books, shoes, sandals, etc. to students and poor households with a total value of more than 80 million VND.

This is a practical activity to encourage spirit and share difficulties and help people here overcome the cold winter./.
