Awarding for outstanding achievements of Project 124G
(Baonghean.vn)-On the afternoon of January 30, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the 124G Project Team for their outstanding achievements. Attending the ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police and representatives of several provincial departments and branches.

From the results of discovering a counterfeit goods trafficking ring in the North Central region, the Economic Police Department (PC46) of Nghe An Province Police established Project 124G to expand the case. At 6:00 a.m. on January 28, 2015, Project 124G presided over and coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police to execute arrest warrants and simultaneously search 3 counterfeit goods manufacturing facilities in Go Vap District and District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.
The task force seized about 15 tons of counterfeit goods and related materials used to produce dozens of counterfeit goods, mainly Listerine mouthwash (made in Thailand), feminine hygiene solution of a famous domestic brand and essential oils, with tens of thousands of bottled and ready-to-be-bottled products, equivalent to a value of about 1.5 billion VND. The task force seized machines, means of producing counterfeit goods and many important documents and temporarily detained related subjects. This is the largest task force to date, successfully destroying a counterfeit goods production line from Ho Chi Minh City distributed to many provinces and cities across the country, including Nghe An, causing serious damage to the health of consumers.
