Awarding ceremony of Science and Technology Creativity Competition for high school students 2014 - 2015

(Baonghean.vn) - After nearly 2 exciting days, on the afternoon of January 7, at Hermann High School, Nghe An Department of Education and Training held the closing ceremony of the science and technology innovation contest for high school students in the 2014-2015 school year.

The organizers awarded first prize to the winning authors.

The Organizing Committee awarded 66 prizes including: 4 First prizes, 13 Second prizes, 19 Third prizes and 30 Encouragement prizes for participating projects. In which, the First prize was awarded to 4 projects including: the project of Treating household wastewater using rice husk charcoal from a smokeless furnace by author Mai Manh Hung, Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School, Do Luong District; the project of Generators for family use by authors Dau Van Thuan and Nguyen Ngoc Chin, Dien Hai Secondary School, Dien Chau District; the project of Students' needs for teachers' behavior in high schools by authors Pham Thi Thanh Huyen and Phan Phuong Tram, Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, Vinh City; the project of Weed and pesticide spraying vehicle by authors Mai Tien Dung and Mai Thao Van, Nguyen Truong To High School, Hung Nguyen District. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 6 prizes to groups and units with outstanding achievements in participating in the Science and Technology Innovation Contest for high school students in the 2014-2015 school year.

The 2014-2015 science and technology innovation contest attracted nearly 200 students from 33 high schools in Nghe An province. According to the Organizing Committee, this year's entries are all highly practical topics, demonstrating the creativity and passion for science of a large number of high school students. The results of the contest show that many students have real qualities and abilities in scientific research.
