Providing housing support money for policy families

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 13, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held a ceremony to hand over money to support housing construction for policy families donated by Ho Chi Minh City businesses.

The amount of 1 billion VND was donated by Ho Chi Minh City enterprises to Nghe An province at the Conference to summarize the socio-economic development cooperation program for the period 2003 - 2014 and sign the cooperation agreement for the period 2014 - 2020 between Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An province in September 2014 to support the construction of gratitude houses for families of policy beneficiaries.

After the approval process from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in the districts, before the Lunar New Year At Mui, 20 families of martyrs, wounded soldiers, revolutionary soldiers imprisoned by the enemy, and victims of Agent Orange in the districts of Hung Nguyen, Dien Chau, Thanh Chuong, Nghi Loc, Anh Son, Nam Dan, Hoang Mai, Quynh Luu and Vinh City were selected.

At the ceremony, leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs wished policy families a happy and warm Tet and hoped that with the attention and support of Party committees, authorities, departments, and organizations, the families would continue to strive and improve their lives.
