This is one of the traffic safety violations involving school-age children that Nghe An Traffic Police have detected and handled since October 1.

Implementing the Peak Plan to strengthen inspection and handling of violations of traffic safety and order for students, from October 1 to October 31, 2024, the Traffic Police force of Nghe An Provincial Police has recorded 707 cases of student violations, imposed fines of over 230 million VND, and temporarily detained 165 motorbikes and 245 other vehicles.

Specifically, the violations include: alcohol concentration: 2; speed: 22; carrying more passengers: 6; handing over the vehicle or allowing an unqualified person to drive: 75; underage driving: 262; not obeying traffic signals: 9; not obeying the inspector's orders: 3; not wearing a helmet: 363; no license: 5; kickstand scraping the road: 1; other violations: 545.

Inspections and handling of violations are carried out thoroughly and maintained regularly and continuously, aiming to create positive changes in awareness and compliance with traffic safety laws, with the goal of minimizing traffic accidents involving students.
