Over 72% of total registered investment capital in real estate sector

(Baonghean) - In 2011, Nghe An granted new Investment Certificates to 71 projects, with a total registered capital of over 18,000 billion VND. Of which, there were 67 investment projects of domestic enterprises with 17,527 billion VND of registered capital and 4 FDI projects with 515 billion VND of registered capital. Notably, our province has attracted foreign direct investment projects (from Korean and Japanese investors) in the textile and garment sector, creating jobs for many workers.

However, the projects attracting investment in 2011 were mainly in the real estate investment sector (30 projects, accounting for 42.25% of the total number of projects with registered capital of over 13,000 billion VND, accounting for 72.3% of the total registered investment capital). Next was minerals (16 projects/815.6 billion VND); there were only 7 projects in the industrial production sector/734.13 billion VND of registered capital.
