In the first 6 months of 2013, the logistics work of the Military Region was carried out in unfavorable weather conditions and fluctuating prices, but all levels proactively overcame difficulties and effectively implemented the goals and targets according to Directive 447 of the Military Region Command. The soldiers' living conditions and accommodation were gradually improved. In the 6 months, the entire Military Region harvested 1,454 tons of green vegetables, an average of 12.3 kg/person/month, reaching 102% of the planned target. Logistics models continued to be consolidated and effectively promoted.

Prepare well in all aspects to ensure the exercise of the defense area of Quang Tri province, the Divisions, Brigades, and the Economic-Defense Group. Continue to direct units to manage well the prices of food, fuel, food money, and the quantity of soldiers' meals. Improve the quality and efficiency of concentrated livestock production areas, milling, processing, and slaughtering stations to create sources, ensuring that green vegetables, meat, and fish are always stable, with prices 5% - 25% cheaper than the market. Continue to direct Regiment 335, Division 324 to effectively carry out the task of building a comprehensive point of logistics work to gain experience and replicate models, especially new models that bring high economic efficiency, contributing to improving the quality of soldiers' lives.
