(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 13, 2015, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to summarize internal affairs and anti-corruption work in 2014 and deploy tasks for 2015. Comrade Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

In 2014, despite the negative impacts of the world political security situation in the region, the difficulties due to slow economic recovery, and many arising problems, under the direction of the Party Committee, the government and functional agencies proactively advised and implemented many plans and programs with good results in all aspects of work. The Internal Affairs Committee proactively coordinated and advised the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to lead and direct internal affairs, anti-corruption work as well as direct complicated mass petition cases in the area.

In 2014, the whole province received 2,603 ​​reports of crimes, prosecuted and investigated 2,233/4,028 defendants; prosecuted 2,242 cases/4,345 defendants, over 2,305 cases/4,430 defendants were accepted, reaching a rate of 97.2%; tried 7,132 cases/7,740 cases accepted, reaching 92%; received 5,635 citizens to make complaints, denunciations and petitions, resolved 352/363 complaints and denunciations, reaching a rate of 97%. Regarding corruption crimes, the authorities investigated and prosecuted 17 cases/36 defendants, and completed the investigation of 14 cases/26 defendants (14 cases/26 defendants were prosecuted, 12 cases/18 defendants were brought to trial)...

In addition to advantages and preventive solutions, the report also pointed out some limitations and causes of limitations in internal affairs and anti-corruption work in 2014, on that basis proposing 12 key tasks for 2015.
