Deploying fire prevention and control work in the border area in Nam Dan
Nam Dan Protective Forest Management Board has just deployed forest fire prevention and control work in the border area in 2011.
Last year, the implementation of the PCCCR coordination regulations in border areas in the districts generally had many efforts to detect early and organize forces to quickly and promptly extinguish fires, so most forest fires were extinguished when they first formed, preventing large fires from spreading over a large area.
However, forest fires also cause considerable damage to localities. In Nam Dan alone, in 2010 there were 13 fires, of which 5 were in adjacent forests. Based on the above situation, the Management Board has organized units to sign commitments to effectively implement forest fire prevention and control work in 2011.
