(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 3, the Government's Steering Committee 138/CP held an online conference to review the work of preventing and combating AIDS and drug abuse in 2013 and deploy tasks for 2014. Many cases involved brutal and savage acts, causing public outrage. In this situation, the Steering Committee 138/CP and localities have resolutely focused on directing the synchronous implementation of solutions, promoting the role of agencies and people in crime prevention and control; promptly launching peak periods to attack and resolutely suppress all types of crimes; destroying many dangerous criminal gangs; Urgently investigate and quickly solve many particularly serious cases, prosecute and strictly try them, contributing to curbing the rate of crime increase, creating more positive changes in social order and safety, promoting the economic, cultural, social and foreign development of the country, which has been recognized and highly appreciated by the people.
