Implementing the 2013 regular university and college enrollment

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 15, the Vinh Inter-School Examination Council deployed the 2013 regular university and college admissions. Attending the conference were comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; provincial departments and branches, leaders of 4 districts with exam locations (Vinh City, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Cua Lo) and Nghi Xuan District (Ha Tinh); leaders of the Vinh Inter-School Examination Council and representatives of universities and colleges with candidates taking the exam at the Vinh examination cluster.

The Vinh cluster examination council was established according to Decision 1486 of the Ministry of Education and Training, with Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa, Principal of Vinh University, as Chairman of the Vinh cluster examination council.

The 2013 university and college entrance exam at Vinh examination cluster had a total of 62,063 candidates registered for both rounds of the exam, from 185 universities (not including candidates from 3 schools that held their own exams: Vinh Medical University; Vinh Technical Education University; Van Xuan University of Technology). Of which, Vinh University alone had 23,338 candidates (an increase of more than 3,200 candidates compared to 2012); candidates from 41 universities in Hanoi had 30,174 candidates; 31 schools in Ho Chi Minh City had 8,551 candidates.

To serve the examination supervision, Vinh examination cluster mobilized 1,837 examination rooms at 94 examination sites; 5,186 staff to direct, supervise, protect and serve the examination. In addition, Nghe An Provincial Student Association also established 19 volunteer student teams "Supporting the examination season" with more than 6,000 volunteers participating in guiding candidates and their families on travel and accommodation during the examination period.

Up to now, the preparation for the exam has been completed: surveying and preparing facilities; establishing the university admission council for the regular system of Vinh University; receiving and responding to information and data from schools in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with candidates registering for the exam at Vinh exam cluster; mobilizing and training in invigilation procedures; completing the arrangement of exam sites; establishing 11 exam clusters and 9 affiliated sites.

Conference overview.

At the conference, members of the Vinh examination cluster agreed on a number of contents: meeting schedule, receiving facilities from the Steering Committee of the examination sites; time for receiving exam papers; examination invigilation process; security and order work to ensure that the 2013 university and college entrance exam at the Vinh examination cluster takes place safely, smoothly, and in accordance with regulations.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: This is an important national exam with a highly competitive nature, so it is very complicated, requiring careful and serious preparation; ready with solutions to handle possible situations. On the province's side, there will be attention and direction for departments and branches to closely coordinate with the Vinh cluster examination council to organize the exam well.
