Deploying enrollment work in 2011
Yesterday afternoon, March 10, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the conference to deploy the 2011 enrollment work was held in Vinh City.
The 2011 university and college entrance exams are scheduled to take place in three phases. Phase I, from July 4 and 5, will be for groups A and V; Phase II, from July 9 and 10, will be for groups B, C, D and gifted groups; Phase 3, from July 15 to 16, will be for all college groups. The exam cluster in Vinh city will be for candidates entering Vinh University and candidates with permanent residence in the four provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and Quang Tri, who wish to take the exam for universities located in the Hanoi area.

For candidates with disabilities who are unable to take care of their personal needs and candidates who are foreigners who wish to study at Vietnamese universities and colleges, they do not have to take the exam, but the schools will base their admission on their academic records; sanctions for violations have been added; the time for reviewing applications has been changed; vocational secondary school graduates are allowed to take college and university entrance exams...
Based on legal documents and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training on enrollment, the Provincial People's Committee established a steering committee for enrollment exams, and at the same time directed provincial departments, branches and sectors to create favorable conditions to support universities and colleges located in the area to prepare conditions for organizing exams, grading exams, inspecting exams, supervising exams...
At the conference, universities and colleges proposed a number of opinions to the Provincial People's Committee on issues related to enrollment in 2011, ensuring the exam takes place safely and seriously.
At the end of the working session, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong concluded: In order for the 2011 admissions to take place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations, the Provincial People's Committee assigned departments, branches, and sectors to coordinate with the Vinh examination cluster steering committee, universities, and colleges to do a good job of preparing for the admissions. At the same time, direct schools to do a good job of career education, orientation in choosing majors and schools suitable for each group of students; focus on propagating new points in the admissions regulations to students and parents.
