Deploying enrollment work in 2012

(baonghean.vn) -This morning, March 16, Nghe An province held a conference to summarize the enrollment work in 2011 and deploy the enrollment work in 2012.

Attending the conference were leaders of the department, high schools, continuing education centers and units working in enrollment.




In 2011, the Department of Education and Training had many innovations in receiving and handing over registration documents and result reports to students; the organization of exams at the Vinh examination cluster took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations; the selection process was systematic, ensuring sufficient quotas and quality. Thanks to the good work of streamlining, in 2011, more than 10,000 junior high school graduates did not take the entrance exam to high schools but registered for vocational and professional secondary schools.

Of the total 92,421 applications, nearly 18,000 were for college entrance exams. In the 2011 admissions, approximately 21,500 students passed the university and college entrance exams; of which 156 students scored 24 points or higher; vocational colleges and colleges with intermediate training programs admitted nearly 5,000 students.

The 2012 university and college entrance exams basically remained stable according to the 3 common solutions as in previous years; including some additions and new points such as: Direct admission of students who won prizes in the national high school excellent student exam; addition of the Hai Phong exam cluster; candidates at the Vinh exam cluster are allowed to register to study at schools in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; additional sanctions for violations of regulations.

This year's admission is divided into 2 rounds: round 1 from July 4-5, 2012 for university entrance exams for groups A, A1, V; round 2 from July 9-10, 2012 for university entrance exams for groups B, C, D and gifted groups; round 3 from July 15-16, 2012 for college entrance exams for all groups.

In 2012, in Nghe An province, there were 4 universities, 5 colleges, 5 intermediate schools organizing entrance exams and 12 vocational schools recruiting students from intermediate to university level.

After this conference, admissions officers of the units will attend a computer training course for admissions work.
