Deploying the Project "Preserving and promoting the value of Soviet Nghe Tinh relics" on schedule and ensuring quality

The project "Preserving and promoting the value of Soviet Nghe Tinh" was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in the detailed planning in Decision No. 4334/QD.UBND - CN dated October 2, 2008, with a total area of ​​222,851.41m2, with a total investment of 328 billion VND, divided into 2 phases: phase 1 (2009 - 2012); phase 2 (2013 - 2015) with the following items: construction of the tomb and temple, construction of the Soviet Nghe Tinh square and Monument; related infrastructure and auxiliary items. Up to now, the following items have been completed and handed over: restoration of martyrs' tombs, temples, gardens, green landscapes... According to the plan, in 2012, the work of site clearance will continue, and the construction of the Soviet Nghe Tinh Monument, including the fine arts part, will be implemented.

However, during the project implementation, there were many opinions from cadres, people, and revolutionary veterans contributing to the project. The Provincial People's Committee issued Document No. 7646/UBND - CNXD dated December 7, 2011 on supplementing and adjusting a number of memorial items under the Project "Preserving and promoting the value of Soviet Nghe Tinh relics". As the investor, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism hired a consulting unit, prepared design documents for supplementary and adjusted items, organized meetings to collect opinions from experts, painters, and sculptors, and edited and completed them for submission to the competent authority for decision.

Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: This is a large cultural project with profound historical significance. Therefore, the planning and implementation of the project's items must ensure progress and quality, especially items with spiritual elements such as the monument area, tomb area and temple... In order for the project to ensure spiritual and aesthetic elements and be suitable for the landscape and location, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with relevant units to be responsible for adjusting the items to suit current conditions. The site clearance work needs to be carried out quickly and neatly to continue implementing other items. As for the Soviet Nghe Tinh Monument cluster, the Provincial People's Committee will call for socialization.
