Major General Tran Tien Dung, Deputy Political Commissar, Head of Steering Committee 1237 of Military Region 4 chaired the conference.

The conference discussed and proposed the Regulations on the organization and operation of the Steering Committee 1237 of Military Region, consisting of 4 chapters and 17 articles. The contents of the Regulations clearly stipulate the responsibilities and powers of the members of the Steering Committee; the principles, working regime and working relationships of the Steering Committee and the provisions for implementation.

The Steering Committee has proposed a plan to implement the Project "Searching for and collecting martyrs' remains from now until 2020 and the following years" to concretize the Politburo's Directive, the Prime Minister's Decision, the plan of the National Steering Committee 1237, the Directive of the Commander of Military Region 4; On that basis, assign specific tasks to relevant agencies, units, localities and mass organizations; Organize unified implementation, speed up the progress and effectiveness of the search and collection of martyrs' remains from now until 2020 and the following years in the areas under the responsibility of Military Region 4.
