Implementing the 2014 University and College Entrance Exam
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 2, at Vinh University, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vinh City Inter-school Examination Council held a Conference to deploy the 2014 University and College Entrance Exam. Attending were representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office, departments, branches; leaders of universities and colleges with candidates taking the exam at Vinh exam site.

This conference aims to unify the contents, programs, and plans for before, during, and after the first round of university and college entrance exams in 2014. Accordingly, many opinions were discussed, focusing on issues such as exam supervision, invigilation, preparation of facilities, and coordination in protecting exam questions and papers. According to the summary of the Vinh exam cluster exam council, up to now, all work has been completed and no unusual situations have occurred.

This year's exam in Nghe An has a total of 46,116 candidates registered for both rounds of the exam from 4 provinces: Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri. Of which, round 1 has 28,245 candidates, round 2 has 17,870 candidates. Vinh University is the school with the largest number of candidates registered for the exam with 15,065 candidates. In addition, there are 23,722 candidates registered for 46 universities in Hanoi and 6,197 candidates registered for 33 universities in Ho Chi Minh City.
Currently, the Examination Council has established 8 examination clusters and 5 affiliated locations (phase 1), 5 examination clusters and 2 affiliated locations (phase 2) at 67 examination locations in Vinh City and Nghi Loc District. There will be over 3,500 officers directing, invigilating, protecting and serving the examination.
The first round of the university and college entrance exams this year will be held on July 4 and 5. On the morning of July 3, candidates began arriving at school to complete exam procedures.
