Implementing the Law on Complaints, the Law on Denunciation and new legal documents

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 18, in Vinh City, the Provincial People's Committee held a provincial conference to implement the Law on Complaints and the Law on Denunciations in 2011. More than 200 delegates were leaders of relevant departments of the Provincial Party Committee, provincial departments and branches, chaired by district-level People's Committees and key staff of the Inspectorate. Comrade Thai Van Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee opened and chaired the conference. Attending and directly conveying the content of these two laws were representatives of the Legal Department of the Government Inspectorate and the Provincial Chief Inspector.

The Law on Complaints and the Law on Denunciations were passed by the National Assembly on November 11, 2011 and took effect from July 1, 2012, separated based on the summary of the implementation of the Law on Complaints and Denunciations. The new Law on Complaints consists of 70 articles and 8 chapters; the new Law on Denunciations consists of 50 articles and 8 chapters.

Comrade Thai Van Hang assigned the task to the relevant agencies to effectively implement the above two laws. All levels and agencies need to conduct good propaganda so that people can grasp the fundamental and important changes of these two laws and on the basis of compliance as well as supervision of the handling process of the relevant agencies.

Also on June 18, the Provincial Council for Dissemination of Legal Education organized an introduction of the above two codes and new regulations in the procedures for resolving civil, economic and commercial disputes to over 100 provincial-level legal reporters and corporate legal officers in the area.
