Effective implementation of the Constitution

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 8, 2014, the National Assembly Standing Committee held a national online conference to implement the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. At the Nghe An bridge point, Comrade Pham Van Tan - Head of the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province chaired the conference, with representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors participating in the conference.

In his opening speech at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Sinh Hung - Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, emphasized: The Constitution is a political and legal document, the fundamental law, the original law of the State. The new Constitution reflects the will and aspirations of our people, in which the Party's will and the people's hearts are deeply blended, and the interests of the entire nation are also deeply intertwined.

Comrade Nguyen Sinh Hung requested the delegates to discuss democratically, frankly and responsibly, and propose specific measures for the implementation of the Constitution. At the same time, fully grasp the spirit of this conference to thoroughly grasp and have practical plans, suitable for each level, sector, locality and organization so that the implementation of the Constitution takes place in accordance with the purpose, requirements, progress and results.

Next, Comrade Dinh The Huynh - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department disseminated Directive No. 32/CT-TW of the Secretariat on implementing the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Directive emphasized that in order to effectively, strictly, seriously, and ensure quality and consistency in implementing the Constitution, the Secretariat requested the National Assembly Party Delegation, the Government Party Committee, the Party Delegations and Party Committees of judicial agencies, ministries and branches at the Central level, Provincial Party Committees, City Party Committees, the Fatherland Front Party Delegations and socio-political organizations to thoroughly grasp and direct and urge relevant agencies and organizations to seriously implement the assigned tasks according to Resolution 64/2013/QH13 of the National Assembly stipulating a number of points on implementing the Constitution and the Plan for organizing the implementation of the Constitution of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Also this morning, Comrade Uong Chu Luu - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly reported on the basic contents of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Comrade Phan Trung Ly - Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee deployed Resolution No. 718/NQ-UBTVQH13 on promulgating the Plan to organize the implementation of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
