In 2014, the agricultural extension sector implemented 22 models, including 3 models from the central budget and 19 models from the provincial budget. In general, the implemented models ensured the season, met technical requirements, and achieved good results. In addition, training courses were organized for the agricultural extension system at the commune, village, and farmer levels. However, in implementing the tasks, there were still some shortcomings. The supervision, monitoring, and evaluation of demonstration models were not close to the requirements, and the implementation status of the models and recommendations for replication in localities were not accurately assessed; in many units, the implementation of production development models was not timely grasped.... From the results achieved in 2014 as well as the difficulties and shortcomings that need to be overcome, the unit set goals for 2015 with specific tasks such as: Implementing agricultural extension programs, training, and education well; Organize training to improve professional capacity for the team of agricultural extension officers re-established according to the province's decision; implement vocational training and agricultural extension programs, etc.
