Exhibition "40 years of Vietnam - France relations and Vietnam - world rendezvous"
On the evening of April 26, at the Vietnam Cultural Center in Paris (France), the photo exhibition, press and film week "40 years of Vietnam-France relations and Vietnam - World Rendezvous" 2014 opened.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Bac Son, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Information and Communications; Mr. Benoît Paumier, National Coordinator of the France - Vietnam Year; Mr. Duong Chi Dung, Vietnamese Ambassador to France; along with representatives of the Association of Vietnamese in France, overseas Vietnamese and French friends.

The exhibition includes eight themes: Vietnam - France relations, from a perspective; Unique French architecture in Vietnam; Vietnam's seas and islands; Vietnam's integration and development; Vietnam's traditional craft villages; Vietnam's traditional festivals; Vietnamese cuisine; Vietnamese press accompanying the country.
The exhibition displays more than 200 photos and nearly 100 unique documentaries produced by the Center for International Journalism and Media Cooperation. Along with that are about 400 Vietnamese press publications from domestic press agencies, with content promoting the image of the beautiful country and people of Vietnam, rich in tradition and history, with economic, cultural and social achievements in recent years.

This is one of the important events in the foreign information work of the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnamese Embassy in France and the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France. The event aims to introduce the image of the country and people of Vietnam, contributing to promoting the strategic partnership in all fields of politics, diplomacy, culture, economy and society between the two countries.
According to the Organizing Committee, all documents at the exhibition will be handed over to the Vietnam Cultural Center in France to continue introducing at other locations in France.
The exhibition will last until May 3.
