Exhibition 'Old Newspaper Color Powder'

This is the first exhibition of gouache paintings on old newspapers in Vietnam, which will open on June 5 at Hang Da Gallery (Hanoi).

There will be 14 artists participating in this exhibition, all of whom have won many awards and had their own art exhibitions: Tran Nhat Thang, Tao Linh, Tran Gia Tung, Do Dung, Pham Tran Quan, Tran Quang Vinh, Le Thiet Cuong... The exhibition also has the participation of poet Nguyen Quang Thieu. Returning to old materials, but as artist Le Thiet Cuong said: Through this exhibition, we do not intend to retell an old story, an old material, but to borrow that material to tell other stories, new stories of today. Because the material is old but art always needs to be new. The exhibition "Old Newspaper Color Powder" will end on June 15.
