Mr. Tran Viet Anh, Deputy Director of the Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, said: “The opinions of the people and international friends will be collected through the reference form, especially for the two second prize winning options. The Organizing Committee hopes that this will be an important basis for selecting the best option to carry out the project of building the Central Relic Site of Thang Long Imperial Citadel in general and the Archaeological Relic Site at 18 Hoang Dieu in particular.”
The exhibition will last until August 30, 2014. After the exhibition ends, the opinions of the community and experts will be compiled and reported to the City People's Committee as a basis for submitting to the Prime Minister for approval to select an architectural plan. The completion of the 18 Hoang Dieu Archaeological Site Conservation Project will contribute to making the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Site a large-scale historical park, worthy of the World Cultural Heritage Site.
This is the second public consultation exhibition. Previously, from April 30 to May 8, all 6 winning designs were exhibited at Hall 19C Hoang Dieu Street of the Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center - Hanoi to introduce and collect public comments.
