Exhibition of microscopic Ukrainian artworks

The exhibition of miniature works and the art of making gold jewelry from Ukraine opened on the afternoon of March 24 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts (No. 2 Hoa Lu, Hanoi).

This is a program organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine within the framework of the official visit to Vietnam of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.

The exhibition displays 32 works, including 20 miniature works by Nikolai Syadristy - a master of miniature artworks.

His works are completely handmade with unique techniques and have been exhibited on all continents, at the Moscow Museum, the Kiev Museum, the Museum of Micro-Art in Andorra.

This exhibition will display special works such as “Chinese Chessboard” - considered the smallest chessboard in the world, both the chessboard and the player are placed on the tip of a needle; “Portrait of Yuriy Gagarin” is a 3x4mm portrait of the world's first astronaut made of thorn wood.

“The world’s smallest handwritten signature” – the author’s signature made of platinum on the end of a hair; “The Windmill” – a gold model containing 203 details, 1.8mm high, placed on half a poppy seed; “The Book of Kobza” – the world’s smallest book, consisting of 12 pages of poems by Taras Shevchenko, the cover is bound with an immortal flower petal and the pages are sewn with spider silk.

Many other works such as: "The Fox and the Grapes," "Camels in the Desert," "The World's Smallest Violin," "Rose in a Hair..." are all miniature masterpieces that delight viewers.

In addition, the exhibition also introduces 12 works of gold jewelry designed by high-tech experts in artistic stereography of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.

Viewers have the opportunity to see new discoveries in high-tech stereoscopic art as well as Ukrainian historical values ​​through artistic photos of beads, necklaces, earrings, icons... carved in gold and precious stones.

The exhibition is open until March 26.
