Exhibition "Cultural characteristics of Vietnamese ethnic groups"
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just assigned the Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups to display and exhibit "Characteristics of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups' Culture" within the framework of the 6th Southern Khmer Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival in Hau Giang province in 2014.

The 6th Southern Khmer Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with Hau Giang province, will take place from November 27-29 in Hau Giang province with the participation of 12 provinces and cities including Hau Giang, An Giang, Bac Lieu, Binh Phuoc, Ca Mau, Kien Giang, Soc Trang, Tay Ninh, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Can Tho city and Ho Chi Minh city.
With the theme: “Southern Khmer people - Solidarity, building and defending the Vietnamese Fatherland”, the 6th Southern Khmer people's Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival has 2 parts, including the festival and the ceremony. The festival has 7 main activities, including: art festival, costume show and folk festival; sports competition and folk games; culinary culture festival; cultural, sports and tourism exhibition; art performance exchange and sightseeing in Hau Giang, fair - exhibition and seminar to promote tourism in Hau Giang. The ceremony, including the opening and closing ceremonies, is held at Hoa Binh Square, Vi Thanh city, and is broadcast live on central and local stations.
The Southern Khmer Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival is an opportunity to honor, preserve and promote the cultural identity of the Southern Khmer community, contributing to economic development, caring for material and spiritual life; educating patriotic traditions, consolidating and strengthening the great national unity bloc.
