Art exhibition on "Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands"
The fine arts exhibition “Vietnam’s sovereignty over seas and islands” will open at 10 a.m. on June 18 at the Fine Arts and Photography Exhibition Center, 29 Hang Bai, Hanoi.
The exhibition displays 55 works by 50 painters and sculptors of the Vietnamese fine arts community such as: Thanh Chuong, Dang Xuan Hoa, Dinh Quan, Pham Luan, Le Thiet Cuong, Dao Hai Phong, Le Tri Dung, Hoang Phuong Vy... In particular, the exhibition has the participation of painters and sculptors who are leaders and lecturers of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts.

In order to promote the tradition of patriotism, protect every inch of the sacred land of the Fatherland, protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands, unify the will and act resolutely to protect the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Fatherland, the artists together spoke out against China's wrongdoings with new hot works about the situation in the East Sea.
The organizers said that the art exhibition “Vietnam’s sovereignty over seas and islands” is a meaningful activity, expressing patriotism, sending a message to the people of the whole country and peace-loving friends around the world, affirming the strength of national unity of the Vietnamese people, affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. The Vietnamese people are determined to protect the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Fatherland.
To quickly bring artists' works to the public, the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions in collaboration with the Vietnam University of Fine Arts organized the Exhibition.
