Book Exhibition "History, People and Times"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 6, 2015, at the Cultural House of Military Region 4, the Political Department of Military Region 4 coordinated with the Military Library to open a book exhibition to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30), President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19) and to celebrate Vietnam Book Day (April 21). Attending and cutting the ribbon was Lieutenant General Vo Van Viet, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 4.

The book exhibition took place from April 6 to 9, 2015 with the main titles: The Communist Party of Vietnam - The organizer and leader of the Vietnamese revolution's victory; President Ho Chi Minh - National hero, world cultural celebrity; General Vo Nguyen Giap - The eldest brother of the Vietnam People's Army; The 1975 Spring General Offensive (campaign, battles, daily newspapers of March, April, May 1975); The Vietnam People's Armed Forces (History of the armies, branches and units); Memoirs of generals about the great victory of the Vietnamese people; Literary and artistic works on the theme of revolutionary war.

Through the book exhibition, we aim to propagate and educate patriotism and national pride in the great victory of our people and army; the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh; at the same time, promote the movement of reading, studying and following books and newspapers; improve the quality of library and reading room activities in agencies and units in Military Region 4.
