Art exhibition "Source of happiness"
On the occasion of International Museum Day (May 18) and in response to "Vietnam Family Year - 2013", on May 19, the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum (66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Hanoi) organized an exhibition called "Source of Happiness" displaying works by famous painters on the theme of mothers and family.
The public will be able to admire the works of artists trained from the first courses of the Indochina College of Fine Arts such as: Tran Van Can, Vu Giang Huong, Le Quoc Loc... and later generation artists such as Tran Luu Hau, Huy Oanh, Nguyen Quan, Vu Cuong, Ha Chi Hieu, Dao Quoc Huy.
The museum also organizes interactive art education programs for children and parents: Talk with artists about art and works; draw pictures based on themes; create with traditional materials (print Dong Ho paintings, decorate Bat Trang ceramics, make Chang Son paper fans)... Activities will take place until May 29.
