On the afternoon of December 4, the Criminal Police Department of Tay Ninh Police dismantled a large-scale gambling den. This was a gang that gathered many gamblers from districts and cities in the area and neighboring provinces to participate with large bets.

The subjects were arrested.

After many months of pursuing, the Criminal Police Department coordinated with the Mobile Police Department of Tay Ninh Police to deploy forces, close the siege and arrest 26 subjects gambling in the form of dice for money in the oil forest in Phuoc Binh 2 hamlet, Suoi Da commune, Duong Minh Chau district.

At the scene, the police seized nearly 500 million VND in cash, 21 motorbikes, 27 mobile phones, and many other related exhibits. Immediately afterwards, the police completed the scene inspection and transferred the gambling participants to the police headquarters for processing.

Through the investigation, the subjects confessed: This gambling den has been operating for nearly a year, organized by Nguyen Van Hoa (40 years old), Le Van Quy (37 years old), Nguyen Thanh Nhan (41 years old), Do Trong Nghia (27 years old), Tran Quoc Sy (44 years old, living in the same district of Duong Minh Chau) and 3 other subjects, who collected from 1.1 to 1.3 million VND/time. When the bookie asked for an additional 20% of the total winning amount, the subjects collected more. At the end of the day, they would summarize and pay the costs of guarding the road, food, and water for their juniors.

The group frequently changed gambling locations. To avoid detection by the authorities, they assigned Huynh Van De (36 years old, residing in Duong Minh Chau district) and Tai Loi to guard many routes and locations and transport gamblers to gambling areas for a fee of 400,000 VND/person.

In addition, they also hired Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh (45 years old) and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hien (34 years old, both living in Duong Minh Chau district) to serve free meals and drinks with wages ranging from 500,000 VND to 800,000 VND/day.
