Eliminate inter-provincial drug trafficking ring

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of June 24, 2015, Vinh City Police successfully broke up Project 615 TL and arrested 01 subject in the inter-provincial drug trafficking ring Hai Phong - Hanoi - Nghe An - Ha Tinh.

After nearly 2 months of investigation, on the evening of June 24, the 615 TL Special Task Force of Vinh City Police executed an emergency search warrant at the residence of Pham Thi Tuan Anh, born in 1979 (nicknamed Mai Con), residing in Hamlet 19, Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City. During the search, the authorities discovered and seized in Pham Thi Tuan Anh's house 05 packages of crystal meth weighing 300 grams; 1,000 synthetic drug pills, ecstasy; 80 grams of Ketamine; 01 RG 88 pistol, 5 bullets, 5 mobile phones and 350 million VND. At the police station, Pham Thi Tuan Anh confessed that she had regularly colluded with subjects in Hai Phong and Hanoi to transport drugs to Vinh and Ha Tinh for consumption. Pham Thi Tuan Anh herself had 3 previous convictions for illegal drug trafficking and possession.

Currently, the Investigation Committee is expanding the investigation and completing the file to handle the subject according to the provisions of law.
